  1. Even though I did not lose I noticed that I did not gain.

  2. Hey, that is great stuff! Thanks bro! But how about supplements? Do you take vitamins during the fasting phase?

  3. I work out around noon everyday what should I have directly in the morning so I can make it to noon? I wake up around 8 or 9. I'm not a coffee type person either. Energy drinks? 5 hour energy? Serious question if someone could offer me some advice!

  4. fasting is an absolute beast.

  5. I love intermittent fasting as well. It is such a relief not to have to plan, prep, and eat 6 meals a day, every day. I basically fast between 16-18 hours a day for about 5 days per week and then I try to eat healthy, but if I don't, I find it still works. I feel better and I'm losing weight. Thanks Greg!! You're inspiring!

  6. Hey man, be interesting to hear your thoughts on doing IF with vegan lifestyle. I switched in January, so currently relearning how to cook and it has been a thoroughly rewarding experience! Just harder getting THAT protein in. Shakes are a God send

  7. Do you get cravings? I did intermittent fasting a few years ago. I broke my fast at 8am for a huge breakfast, and ate an apple four hours later and that's it. This last for a month but I suffered from cravings and eating disorders after that. I binged constantly and gained all the weight back a few months later… I'm thinking of doing it again for weight loss. Any suggestions? Don't want to suffer from binging again

  8. so you dont eat for the first 6 hours when you wake, and how about before sleep do you also have a buffer? or how many hours total is the fast? I like this idea, when I don't eat I feel sharp.

  9. I started IF the day after my birthday last year. In one year I lost over 70 lbs (I'm down about 95 lbs from my all-time high). After years of struggle, this is the one thing that worked for me and it was downright easy! For years I was spinning my wheels, trying all different approaches, struggling and struggling with little to no results. If I had results at all, it was difficult to maintain them. Now I feel confident that I am able to control my level of body fat and not feel deprived. I also agree with you about how it makes you feel and how much more productive I am when I'm fasting. It has also made it possible for me to actually lose weight on holidays (while still enjoying myself) whereas in the past, I could always count on gaining several pounds when I was traveling.

And by the way, I completely agree with you about coffee. It makes me feel amazing. lol I'm glad you mention it in your videos because I (on my own) discovered it as a way to control my appetite and boost my mood. It's good to know that I'm not the only one who finds this to be true. Also, I have often been afraid that the coffee I drink might be bad for me or that it might start losing its effect, but you've put me at ease about those issues.

    Thanks very much!

  10. HEllo everyone , can I take my protein shake and pre and post workout drink after I wake out or would that break the fasting ?

  11. Greg, have you never had energy problems during work in a fasted state? I used to do IF in the other direction (start fast after work till the morning). I have a holiday now and IF after waking up is enjoyable for me. I am a legal advicer and mental sharpness and energy during my work is very important for me. Is it good for me to fast during my work (6 hours after waking up)?

  12. Can you discuss IF versus carb backloading?

  13. Breakfast (break the fast) Who in their right mind goes out to hunt for food right after waking up. Early break-fast is so 1990

  14. Bulked for 3 months and started fasting today on accident. I didn't feel lazy at all and felt pretty good for some reason. I'll fast for this whole week, because I actually loved drinking my nutella-peanut butter chocolate whey protein shake. Orgasmic stuff after a 20 hour fast.

  15. Agreed with everything said except coffee is not for me. My first meal usually starts at between 4pm and 6pm. I am mentally alert. I have tons of energy. I miss nothing.

  16. If I am 5ft7 , 24 years old and weight 150 lbs… I am in a ´´healthy weight´´ however I have like 18% to 20% body fat percentage. Basically I would like to have the same weight I have now but with 10 to 15 % body fat… should I do warrior shredding program, greek god or attempt a recomp…

  17. Very stupid question here, i need to study alot for exams will being fasted reduce/improve my learning potential.
