  1. I ate and drank WAY too much bad stuff this weekend (Labor Day weekend) so I'm trying to get back on track today. I just got home from a nice 2 mile run in the sunshine by the river and I'm currently drinking some water with lime and basil. I feel so much better already!

  4. just remeber that fruit has a lot of sugar too so try not to eat a whole bunch during your day. but you should always have at least 1 or 2 a day

  6. Amanda, you've become my inspiration and motivation to become more healthy. It's hard for me to stay motivated with things because, I admit, I can be lazy and I just lose hope when I don't think certain things are working. But finding your channel could change my lifestyle!

  8. there is this really good documentary called That Sugar Film that is absolutely amazing. It talks about sugar and why it is bad for you and it shows a unique way to lose weight. Like it seriously changed the entire way I think about food.

  9. Do you have any tips for how to eat healthy while living in a dorm room? I have found that I'm eating a lot of junk food because I can only cook with a microwave (dorm rules) and I just physically feel bad and would like to change my eating habits but don't know where to start, and what I seen online is mainly more junk that I would just have to make from scratch.

  13. I know that nobody likes to talk about it – but when you drink heaps of water, do you CONSTANTLY need to pee? I drink a litre of water over a school day, and I have to pee between almost every class!

  14. Having a small treat once in a while is ok.
    It's like my great grandfather used to say: "Take everything in small portions".

    Oh, but I REALLY need to focus on detoxifying my body nowadays, concerning recent health issues.

  16. Whenever I'm trying to avoid crappy foods but I'm craving something crunchy, I snack on some celery sticks or cucumber slices. It's really refreshing and gives me that nice crunch I always like. If I want to add a little something, I eat cucumber with a tad of chilli powder or tajin (but only a little bit of that because it's high in sodium) and some lemon juice. It's a nice cold tasty treat that satisfies cravings.
