  1. High intensity interval training should not be done more than three times a week. If you can do it more than three times you are not going hard enough. Your body needs recovery time to rebuild after the damage that high intensity training causes.

  2. IF Is insane, im loving it even with a big 7/8hr eating window, doing strength training 2/3 times per week and hiit cardio in days inbetween then having 2 days off. I sleep so deeply and my recovery times have reduced by probably a third, increased libido and confidence. Was worried i wouldnt have enough energy to workout, hahaha i now have more energy as my body isnt struggling to process the food i ate 2hrs ago. Cant believe i spent so long swearing by 6 small meals per day, that was bs!!!

  3. So if i got this right (since my english is not the best, not sure i understood it perfectly) Lets say i eat my dinner at 7pm. I don't eat anything until after i exercise. Lets say i exercise at 4pm. I don't eat anything before that? What if i exercise at noon? Is there some decided range of hours you should keep the fasting between before you exercise and break it? Or you just exercise when u exercise and then eat and that is how it work? No limited hours?

  4. Don't eat for three hours before going to bed. Then gradually increase the time you eat your first meal to noon or even a bit later. Seek to exercise in the AM while you are fasting, not at 4 PM

  5. my HR is always in the high 190s and sustained for as long as possible … yet i am still quite able to do it every day. i don't believe criteria for performing HIIT should be the inability to add it to a daily routine. i agree that recovering properly is going to be optimal but there are clear flaws in stating that i'm not going hard enough because i have the ability to do it tomorrow.

  6. Sounds like you need to be evaluated by a competent cardiologist.

  7. too many fatties disliking the video

  8. The number of dislikes does not make sense

  9. I am going to give this a try … I have said for years I have much more energy if I don't eat in the morning. All the data says breakfast is the most important meal of the day and I fell into thinking someone knew what they were talking about. I look forward to seeing how this works … I am a HUGE fan of your site!!!

  10. Thank you for all the great information Dr. Mercola, I will definitely try this tomorrow.

  11. Intermittent fasting is helping me too!  I lost 15 pounds almost effortlessly without "dieting".  I don't exercise much and I know I should, but regardless, I lost weight and continue to lose.  Okay, during the holidays at my mom's,  I gained back 3 pounds, but now starting to lose it again now that I'm home.

  12. Thank Dr. Mercola for this wonderful video and the time you took about it.
